Vistas International Film Festival (VIFF) is devoted to a greater appreciation of world cinema and culture. The festival seeks to support emerging filmmakers, open a fertile space for dialogue and collaborations within the industry, and most significantly share with the audiences of Abu Dhabi/U.A.E. the diverse and complex experiences of the globe through the intimate storytelling medium of cinema. It also focuses on the exchange of the Arab and International culture and make the region a hub of creativity. Abu Dhabi with its sizable population of the residents from all around the globe, is a natural choice for this purpose. Supported by two four54 Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC), Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) & VOX Cinemas the festival is a landmark initiative to serve as a cultural gateway between Abu Dhabi/U.A.E. and the World Cinema. Abu Dhabi, being considered as the gateway to the whole world, only enhances the potential of the festival to emerge as the melting pot of diverse cultures using cinema as a medium.

With its eclectic mix of events, VIFF hopes to provide an entertaining, immersive as well as enriching environment to enable a new vibrant film community to develop in Abu Dhabi.
